Yes, I'm completely surprised by this! Heidi Klum and Seal are announcing their split after seven years of marriage and five children, four with one another. I mean no one saw this coming! In public this couple were always talking about their love and lust for each other, even renewing their vows every year!

But word is circulating that it was Seal's anger issues that have become more frequent that had Heidi decide to leave. Though everything seemed happy on an exterior level, behind the scenes there were some intense arguments. It was when these arguments appeared in front of their children that Heidi decided she needed a change of scenery.

Here is their joint statement, "While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate. We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition. We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. And for our children¹s sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy."

Though they have split, they are still on good terms. As I mentioned before, I was very shocked at this news. Everyone is divorcing! Why isn't marriage such a sanctity like it used to be? Has to be Hollywood right? Regardless, I always felt Heidi Klum was a lot prettier than Seal, like no comparison, but their public love for one another made up for it. If this marriage that was completely unexpected ended, what saving grace is there for other couples in the Hollywood spotlight?

RUSSELL BRAND FILES FOR DIVORCE FROM KATY PERRY

And with more couple news, Russell Brand has filed for divorce on Friday December 30th, from Katy Perry citing "irreconcilable differences". Though this may seem a shock to the public, many in the celebrity world are not surprised.

When the couple met on an awards show a few years ago, they both caught each other's eyes. From that moment on, their fast track to romance led to a lavish wedding ceremony in India. From the public eyes, and mine I saw them as an odd match. First off, Katy is utterly beautiful and Russell is not that attractive. But both seemed to compliment each other with their wittiness and sense of humor aspect.

But as I'm reading up on these divorce articles, it said that the two were complete opposites. Trying to tackle a sober lifestyle now, Russell was more of a homebody than Katy who enjoyed going out on the scene and partying it up. They would usually get into arguments regarding these matters on how Russell always wanted to leave early and Katy wanting to stay. Something that I did notice though was that they were hardly together it seemed. While he was off on film sets, she was touring all the time.

Though rumors have constantly been circulating on marriage problems, things became really suspect when Russell was off in London seen without his wedding ring and Katy was in Hawai'i on Christmas Day. I guess all that denying really caught up to them. Though they are getting divorced, Russell said in a statement to the AP, "Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends." I honestly was shocked with this news after being married for a little over a year, especially because both claimed they became vegan after watching Forks Over Knives which I believe is a big step as a couple as one. Anyways, I should've known better, it's Hollywood peoples!

VANESSA ACCUSES KOBE BRYANT OF SLEEPING WITH OVER 100 WOMEN DURING MARRIAGE

I saw an article yesterday claiming that Vanessa Bryant accused Kobe Bryant of sleeping with over 100 women during the course of their marriage which was a span of 10 and a half years.

“[Vanessa] estimated that he was averaging at least 10 affairs a year with different women over the course of their marriage and puts his number of conquests at 105...The lies and deceit hurt, of course, but racking up those kinds of numbers is mind-blowing and left her devastated. And when she discovered he was cheating during the recent NBA lockout, that was the final straw. her private detective caught him redhanded with incriminating photos.”

What's a woman to do if she knows that her husband is constantly cheating on her? I don't know how much I could've dealt with that dilemma, but even though Vanessa wanted to divorce Kobe four years ago, her mother advised her to keep at it until the ten year mark came. Now that the number totaled 10 and a half years, it is time that Vanessa peace out with her first paycheck being $75 million dollars. Money can buy you something after all!

KOBE AND WIFE VANESSA DIVORCE

On Friday, Vanessa Bryant (wife of Kobe Bryant) filed for divorce after 10 1/2 years of marriage citing "irreconcilable differences". Kobe's infidelity first took it's big hit back in 2003 where a Colorado woman accused him of sexually assaulting her. Through that ordeal and press conference, Vanessa stood by his side through a public apology that came in the form of a $4 million ring.

Being that Kobe is a superstar, it's inevitable that he has been cheating on his wife which therefore built up Vanessa's endless suspicions. Coming from a female's point of view, I know for a fact that a woman's intuition never fails. Even though it's one of the worst feelings to experience, it's better to know than not.

Sources say, "She's been dealing with these incidents for a long time and has been a faithful wife, but she's finally had enough. This one is the straw that broke the camel's back." Another source claims that Kobe is desperately trying to do whatever it takes to save their marriage.


Vanessa signed the divorce petition the beginning of this month on December 1st, and Kobe signed his response December 7th. According to docs, Vanessa is asking for joint custody of their two daughters with Kobe having visitation rights as well as spousal support. Within the marriage, there is also no pre-nup involved, so Vanessa is entitled to have half of Kobe's empire. Now that the divorce is going underway with Vanessa being represented by celeb reps Laura Wasser and Samantha Klein, what will now happen to the great NBA player that many people looked up to? Will he be affected? I guess we have to wait and see...

Demi Moore Files for Divorce from Ashton Kutcher!

Okay, another Hollywood divorce ended what else is new? As if we didn't see this coming already, time only proved that this marriage wouldn't last long. Today, Demi Moore filed for divorce from her husband of 6 years Ashton Kutcher.

Meeting at a play in NYC, the twosome started dating for 2 years in 2003, and got married 2 years after in 2005. Having three daughters with ex-husband Bruce Willis, the topic of children was always welcomed by the couple who planned to have a child during the course of their marriage. Though initially the phenomenon of Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher stemmed from Demi being 16 years Ashton's senior, sparking an entire cougar culture acceptance, but many mouths shut after the two tied the knot.

The couple seemed to have a happy marriage by being openly graphic through their daily tweets, posting pictures of themselves and current status updates. But the marriage started making negative headlines with "rumors" that Ashton Kutcher cheated on Demi with two different women, Brittney Jones in September 2010 and Sara Leal in September 2011 who came forward alleging the infidelity. Making headlines, Ashton spoke out, "I think Star magazine calling me a 'cheater' qualifies as defamation of character. I hope my lawyer agrees...Star magazine – you don’t get to stand behind 'freedom of the press' when you are writing fiction."

After two months of constant allegations against Kutcher along with failed attempts at trying to help save their marriage, Moore finally filed for divorce with "great sadness and a heavy heart...As a woman, a mother and a wife, there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life." These past few months, she has looked shockingly thin. At 49 years old, Moore weighs in at 98 pounds for her 5'5 frame, appearing very gaunt and unhealthy.

In response to the news of his ending marriage, Kutcher tweeted, "I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi...Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK." Based on this Tweet, it doesn't seem like Kutcher is at all sad that his marriage ended, it's more like an "oh well" approach don't you think?

Currently, the two are still following each other on Twitter with Demi still possessing the @mrskutcher name. They will now battle over their $290 million fortune after much public humiliation of inevitable infidelity.

JENNIFER LOPEZ AND MARC ANTHONY DIVORCING!

YES YES YES, TOTAL SHOCKER INDEED!!! Despite their failed marriages [Anthony on his 2nd, and Lopez on her 3rd], they both seemed like they were meant for one another. Not only did they share a Puerto Rican background, but both just complimented each other well. A joint statement to People said, "We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to amicable conclusion on all matters."

But was this marriage headed for an unhappy ending just like their previous relationships? I mean Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez wed literally a few days after his divorce with ex-wife Dayanara Torres whom he had children with. And I shouldn't go into full detail on JLO's love life. She's in and out of relationships too much making it seem like she falls in love too easily.

Celebrity relationships are bound to fail from the start because being constantly scrutinized in the public eye tends to destroy almost every relationship since things get blown out of proportion all the time and false stories make front pages. Now let's take a famous singer like Marc Anthony and put megastar JLO in the mix. Yes they do have a similar foundation, but Jennifer Lopez LOVES the spotlight. I'm not calling her an attention seeker, but the spotlight loves her too. She's the face for many beauty ads, and she is a judge on the biggest show in television American Idol.

Now that she's decided to return for another season, might have been some sort of cause to their marriage troubles. Being in the public spotlight in regards to a highly watched primetime show takes up a lot of time and energy. And let me state the obvious, Jennifer Lopez is a much better looker to her soon-to-be ex-husband. Though their split is very heartbreaking, it makes it worse when there are kids involved, their fraternal twins Max and Emme who are only three years old. We know that Jennifer Lopez has always wanted children and to finally be a mother is a big part of her life. Hopefully a good arrangement can be settled.

Jennifer Lopez, named the year's "Most Beautiful Woman" by People, is as stunning as she was when she first came into the Hollywood scene...I would say even better looking! But with all these failed relationships when it comes to marriage, it seems to me that either she's not willing to work through the tough times in a marriage or that's just not who she is or even what she should be doing. If this was my third failed marriage, yes I would be heartbroken again, but maybe marriage isn't something I would find myself doing again and again. Is it JLO's fault, I don't know but maybe she can consider tapping into the Hollywood trend of basically "being married" without the official piece of paper. Whatever comes out of this, I hope that they still remain in amiable terms and make it work for their children.
