Britney Spears Officially Joins the X-Factor Crew

It is official. Britney Spears is now an X-Factor judge on the panel with Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid. After the wrapping of the first season, Simon was quick to fire judges Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger, and British host Steve Jones (who was pretty horrible by the way, I mean he said Twitter like 'Tweeta').

So in the off-season, there was a controversy surrounding the second season of the show and who would fill in the place of the two previous judges. After much speculation, Miss Britney Spears will be one filling that seat and I am pretty excited to tune into the second season now. I mean who wouldn't say that Britney Spears doesn't have an X-Factor because she is a total X-Factor who is still a prominent figure in the entertainment industry. I feel that through everything she has experienced as a teen icon, to periods of trials and tribulations, and her comeback into the music scene, she has definitely been through a lot and made it out on top.

Now, rumors are still circling whether another judge would come into the mix and gossip is pointing to young idols Miley Cyrus or Demi Lovato. Honestly, I don't think those two girls have been through enough to be considered a judge for a big talent competition. But then again, they do want to make this show more interesting and cater to a bigger audience to compete against the other talent shows such as American Idol, The Voice, and America's Got Talent. Guess we'll have to see wait until the contract is signed. By the way, Britney Spears will be making BANK...who wouldn't want $15 million for a season? Cha-Chinggggg!!!

Britney Spears was born on December 2, 1981 in Kentwood, Louisiana, USA. As a child, Britney attended dance classes, and she was great at gymnastics, winning many competitions. But most of all, Britney loved to sing. At the age of eight, Britney tried out for “The All New Mickey Mouse Club” (1989). One of the last teenage superstars of the millennium, Britney enjoyed her breakthrough success at the end of 1998. Although she was too young to join the series, a producer on the show gave her introduction to a New York agent. She subsequently spent three summers at the Professional Performing Arts School Center. She appeared in a number of off-Broadway productions as a child actor, including Ruthless 1991.

She began to audition for pop bands in New York area, her demo tapes eventually landing on the desk of Jive Records’ Jeff Fenster. Her big break, came when she was signed as a Jive Recording Artist in the late 90s. Well who would've thought! Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake are engaged! But not to each other of course...that would've been pretty crazy though.

In about mid-December, Britney Spears was proposed to by boyfriend and ex-manager Jason Trawick on his 40th birthday. The couple started dating shortly after Britney Spears was facing financial problems with her father who was also her former manager. "This is something they've both wanted for a long time. It's a way to cement their family. They're both extremely happy and can't wait to become man and wife."

Now leave it to Justin Timberlake's grandmother to oust her grandson's engagement to Jessica Biel! “He called me on Christmas Day and told me he’s engaged. He told her not to tell the news to anyone “until after the holidays.” Granny Bomar also added that “the family loves Jessie… she’s a very sweet girl.” The couple has been dating for quite some years now, with a few break-ups and make-ups in between. Their most recent breakup I guess did wonders for their relationship, making Justin give Jessica a customized ring.

I'm really happy for both of them. For one, Britney Spears seems like she's been unlucky with love and marriages. So to see her with her career on point, and a civil relationship with her fiance seems like a good fit. For Justin and Jessica, I'm glad they realized the love they shared and decided to take it to the next level. I wish both of them well in their next journey in their love life.

Megan Denise Fox born on May 16th 1986.  Megan is both an Actress and a model.  I hear a lot of Megan Fox mostly from men who go on and on about how hot she is.  Of course, who am I to disagree?
Megan began her acting career in 2001 in several television and films.  All minor roles until the blockbuster film Transformers which brought her directly into the spotlight.  She returned to act in the sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen although I heard she had problems with the director and almost didn't take part in the second movie.  I believe the director Michael Bay wanted her to gain weight?
During an interview with The Times Megan stated on the topic of being a role model "It depends on what your idea of a role model is...  If your idea of a role model is somebody who's gonna preach to your kids that sex before marriage is wrong and cursing is wrong and women should be this and be that, then I'm not a role model.  But if you want your girls to feel strong and intelligent and be outspoken and fight for what they think is right, then I want to be that type of role model, yeah."
She also stated on the topic of being typecast "Getting typecast as what? Attractive?  How bad is that?"
Megan was born in Oak Ridge Tennessee.  Her parents Darlene and Franklin Fox divorced when she was young.  Her step fathers name is Tony Tonachio.  Megan was raised Roman Catholic and went to chatholic school for the long haul of 12 years. Living in a very strict home she and her sister was not allowed a boyfriend or to invite friends over.
Megan lived with her mother until she made enough money to support herself.  She began her training in drama and dance at the age of only five in Kingston, Tennessee.  She also attended dance class at the community center.  She was in chorus and swam with the Clippers swim team at Kingston elementary.
At the age of 10 Megan and her family moved  to St. Petersburg, Florida.  She won several awards modeling at the age of 13 at the 1999 American Modeling and Talent Convention in Hilton Head in South Carolina.  Megan tested out of school via correspondence in order to move to Los Angeles.
She has spoken extensively of her time in education.  She states that in middle school she was bullied and picked on to the point where she ate her lunch in the bathroom to avoid being "pelted with ketchup packets".
She says the problem was not her looks but rather that she had "always gotten along better with boys" and that "rubbed some people the wrong way".

Megan also said that in high school she was never popular and that "everyone hated me, and I was a total outcast, my friends were always guys, I have a very aggressive personality, and girls didn't like me for that.  I've had only one great girlfriend my whole life".  In the same interview she mentions that she hated school and has never been "a big believer in formal education" and "the education I was getting seemed irrelevant.  So, I was sort of checked out on that part of it".
Megan Fox thinks she is not at the same level of such actresses like Jennifer Aniston,Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan.

Not too long ago at my job, we did an article about proper tipping etiquette which I found very interesting because I used to be a server as my college job so I have strong opinions on this subject matter. There would be times where I would miss my lunch break to finish serving a table, then when they left their tip SUCKED!!! I'm just like REALLYYY?! How about you serve yourself while I enjoy my lunch break? Like if I would've known you were going to be such a lousy tipper, I wouldn't have even wasted my time on you. There were also professors of mine which were the worst tippers too! I worked my magic by mentioning how I was in their class and what I'm learning etc, then this one professor had the nerve of paying with ZotBills and leaving no tip! Realllyyyyyyyyy?! Are you really that cheap? Like I'm sorry for bluffing you up, it was totally not worth the time.

8) Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson - According to a waitress at a steak house, he asked if he could eat there before it opened so he could avoid fans but left a $7 tip. She was so ticked off she vented, "This guy is not a 'Rock' to me, just a cheap pebble."

7) Bill Cosby - This guy has 2 stories! One waiter says he got a tab of $375 that night but left a $3 tip which equates to 0.08%. Another says he tipped the bellhop a mere 50 cents for six heavy bags. I guess the elderly like to keep their pockets tight.

6) Kirsten Dunst - She has 2 stories too! At a West Hollywood eatery where the starstruck manager comped her meal, she left no tip! Another Assistant Manager told FOX that she also received a $233 check then left "without even the smallest gratuity." I guess she just gets what she needs and bounces.

5) Madonna - Known for her stiffness with tipping, she left an $18 tip for a $400 check which equals 4.5% tip in a West London restaurant. Also at NYC hotspot Babbo, she failed to leave any tip.

4) Tiger Woods - According to a tipster in Vegas, he refused to leave any tip at all, making his companion who was a female leave the tip. The reason? He never carries cash, ever...

3) Usher - This songstress should learn a thing or do about being generous in other matters. One waiter said he waits for others to pick up the check for him, and if that doesn't happen leaves his autograph for a tip. (An Usher autograph is selling on Ebay for under $5 and no bids)

2) Britney Spears - E! Online picked up the story of Ms. Britney at Hollywood hot spot One Sunset leaving no tip for a $251 bill then threw change at the feet of the parking valet saying, "There's your tip."

1) Jeremy Piven - In 2007 he showed up with an entourage of 12 people and no reservations at a high-end sushi joint Nobu in Aspen where was seated and dined. Upon the way out, he told the manager, "Thanks for nothing." As a tip, he left a signed Entourage DVD which an enraged Nobu employee hurled at him while he left and to this day Piven has been banned from Nobu.

So there's the list of the top 10 best/worst celebrity tippers. No matter how much money theses celebs have, they can either be feeling giving or stingy, maybe even genuinely being a giver or just plain cheap. For any service industry, it's polite to tip a waiter 15% especially if they're providing good service to you. If there's a case where your service isn't that good, it's good to still give 15% because these depend on your tips to make a living since the hourly pay is nothing! Lesson learned?!
