KATY PERRY DISSES BEYONCE & SHAKIRA'S DUET

Okay, not headlining news as of today, but still pretty big because someone be dissing Beyonce! And we know she "run the world" because she said so. Well this someone is California Girl Katy Perry. If you didn't know, Katy Perry and Rihanna have been pretty close friends for awhile now and they have been working on a duet for some time. But, Katy explains that this collaboration has taken some time because they want it to be great, not like "Beautiful Liar".

Here is exactly what she said: "We've collaborated on a lot of things, but just not songs yet. It's one of those things that's got so much build up that we have to deliver. I want it to be like that Eurythmics and Aretha Franklin song 'Sisters Are Doin' It for Themselves,'...Not 'Beautiful Liar.'"

I don't get why this is considered really just dissing Beyonce, when it's with Shakira too. Shouldn't it be considered dissing both? Funny thing is that "Beautiful Liar" hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2007.

In closing, Katy Perry adds: "How disappointed would you be if that song came out and it's no good? Sometimes you have to wait for greatness." Well we are waiting girl, and it better be a lot better!

Hollywood celebrities Shakira nice wallpaper

Shakira was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, on February 2, 1977. Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll is the youngest sibling of her parents’ eight children. While in school, Shakira was making her musical talent known by winning talent shows playing the guitar, and she was even kicked out of her school choir because her voice drowned out the other choir singers. At the age of 12, she began her musical career and quickly captures fans throughout Latin America. At age 13, she had signed a record deal with Sony in Colombia, which resulted in her first album, “Magia (Magic)”, a compilation of songs she wrote between the ages of 8 and 13. It was an effort that put Shakira in Colombia’s musical map, and led to her being chosen to represent her country at the Fesival OTI in Spain.

SHAKIRA SHAKES IT IN "RABIOSA"

Shakira just keeps on outdoing herself in every music video. This time around for her latest single "Rabiosa", we see her as a brunette in a bob hairstyle, then she works a pole with her long blonde locks. Check out this hot music video now! It will definitely get you [yes males and females] hot and bothered in a good way ;) Though this song features Pitbull, he was MIA during the video, but that's okay because Shakira makes it hot enough for the both of them.

Check out these naughty lyrics too!

Rabiosa

If you don't get enough I'll make it double
I got my boy now in big, big trouble

You see that road isn't meant for me
You know I want you amarrao aqui

SHAKIRA Glams It Up At NRJ Awards; Others Stars, Too...

Wearing Alaia dress, Christian Louboutin clutch purse, Sergio Rossi pumps,
and Lorraine Schwarz jewelry

I know that there are a lot of Shakira fans out there, so I just thought I'd post some pictures that I found from JustJared. She was spotted at the 2011 NRJ Awards at the Palais de Festivals et des Congres in Cannes, France.

Shakira looks awesome in that dress, and Usher... I don't know if that outfit is considered for red carpet, but off that, it looks cool and can be rocked in any informal setting.

Other celebs were also present...

Dat's wassup....
