Justin Bieber Sports a ROLEX Ring... O.G.-Style!!!

Justin Bieber still makin' ladies swoon...

Check out Justin Bieber singing a capella on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' in his Pierre Balmain denim jacket and Rolex ring. A nice way to bring old-world vintage (with the jacket) and fuse that with O.G. style (the ring).

The cherry on top is the hair (just sayin...)

Sneaker of the Day: Pierre Balmain Gold Zip Sneakers

Saw these sneakers of Upscale Hype, and was just like... 'I gotta have those, well in a cheaper version.' These 'Lexis' sneakers, by Pierre Balmain, retail for $735 and feature a patent leather cap toe, suede leather, gold zip inserts, wax laces, and loads of leather on the insole.

A BOSS LOOK that can definitely be rocked with a black/gold bowtie from my tie collection, 'Vintage Ties by Jaiden' http://facebook.com/vintageties . Check it out...

Rock it out with THIS bowtie!

MORE AFFORDABLE BALMAIN LINE

So I first heard of Balmain on the red carpet when a few of the celebrities were wearing the line, most notably at the MTV Movie Awards 2011. So when I heard that Balmain is coming out with a more affordable line I was pretty psyched!....until I looked into it and found out, it's not exactly that cheap but I guess more affordable?

The "more affordable" line called Pierre Balmain will hit stores in early December of this year. The line will feature a range of items from evening wear to daywear. CEO and Balmain chairman Alain Hivelin says, "The Pierre Balmain collection translates the codes of Balmain in a more casual and relaxed manner ... We see Pierre Balmain as a new and distinct brand that is inspired by the successes and history of a great house, but offers a look and product that respond to the needs and desires of today’s marketplace.” Prices range from $173 (t-shirts) to $363 (jeans) to $1291 (eveningwear).

The main Balmain line will ultimately still keep it's rock n' roll edge which made it famous, but distinguish it by becoming more sophisticated and couture-like. Check it out!

BALMAIN MAKES ITS WAY INTO HOLLYWOOD ROYALTY

BALMAIN is a fashion house created by French designer Pierre Balmain known for sophistication and elegance in 1945. The house at first started off showcasing long bell-shaped skirts with small waists that became popular as Dior's new look. In 1951, he opened branches in the U.S. selling ready to wear clothes. During the 50's he popularized the stole for day and evening wear as well as sheath dresses beneath jackets. Balmain's talent lay in his ability to make grand evening gowns and simple tailored suits using slender and elegant lines.

Passing away in 1982, Balmain's designs, most notably his vintage couture gowns still remain popular amongst the international jet-setters, movie stars, and socially prominent women. After his death, the house was taken over by Erik Mortensen and Oscar de la Renta [1993-2001] who brought classic, luxurious designs. Until 2011, the house was led by Christophe Decarnin who brought a more modern and edgier take. This past April of this year, Olivier Rousteing took over Balmain.

Seeing his designs make an appearance at the MTV Movie Awards this past Sunday made me intrigued to find out who this designer was. Kristen Stewart, Leighton Meester, and Mila Kunis wore his designs that night. What is also popular are the Balmain jackets that are military styled, very Michael Jackson-esque seen on Beyonce and Rihanna. Looking at his beautiful designs that have inspired designers after him, make me one day dream to wear one of the famous designs, I would be completely honored.
