MADEA Is The "Real" Black Swan!!! *LoL*

For some of you who don't know, I just love me some MADEA. This big old woman is talked about negatively by many "oustide" people who really don't get the concept (those that call Tyler Perry a cross-dresser) of this creative comedy. 

Sidebar: I don't get how Tyler Perry is called a CROSS-DRESSER, but you would laugh and say nothing about Martin Lawrence as "Big Momma" in BIG MOMMA's HOUSE or Jamie Foxx as "Wacky Wanda" in IN LIVING COLOR (back in the day). *SMH--shuuuut up--it's COMEDY!!*

But anyway, Tyler Perry, producer of many plays starring Madea, a 6'6, 350 lb. matriarch who keeps her family in check by slapping them and burning them with cigarettes, as well as giving LIFE lessons, had produced another movie called "Madea's Big Happy Family," due April 22, 2011. Note the similarity in the promo poster??? CLASSIC!!!

"Madea is the real Black Swan." HA!! I believe that. Haven't seen a MADEA movie yet? Try one. Get ready to be tickled silly. I know I will be on April 22 when that movie comes out. You'll find me at my favorite movie theatre, PALLADIUM 12 in Birmingham, Michigan.

HALLE BERRY Confirmed To Play ARETHA FRANKLIN In Biopic

Aretha Franklin's wish has been granted: Halle Berry, after all, will play the "R-E-S-P-E-C-T" songstress in a near-future biopic. In recent months, this thing was not developed yet and was deemed 'laughable" since people were joking about Franklin's current size and Halle Berry's curves and talking about "how could this be?" Remember that Ms. Franklin wasn't always the size she is now (she has since lost weight since surgery and better care of herself).

Ms. Franklin announced the news on The Wendy Williams Show on Thursday saying that in the past, there were numerous offers made that were not good, but the correct financing was put together and it finally came to fruition.

I believe this should be a good film, and thank God that Aretha is much better since having surgery for her past illness; my prayers are definitely with her. GET STRONGER 'QUEEN OF SOUL!!'

Tom Hanks

Tom Hanks is another one of my favorite actors that I think deserves a lot of credit.
Tom was born July 9th 1956. Hanks studied theater at Chabot college in Hayward California but after two years of that transferred to California State University in Sacramento.
Tom told the New York Times...

"Acting classes looked like the best place for a guy who liked to make a lot of noise and be rather flamboyant. I spent a lot of time going to plays. I wouldn't take dates with me. I'd just drive to a theater, buy myself a ticket, sit in the seat, and read the program, and then get into the play completely. I spent a lot of time like that, seeing Bertolt Brecht, Tennessee Williams,Henrik Isben,and all that, and now look at me, acting is my job. I wouldn't have it any other way."
Hank met Vincet Dowling, head of the great Lakes Theater Festival on Cleveland, Ohio. Dowling's suggested to Tom to become an intern at the Festival, which stretched into a three-year experience that covered everything from lighting to set design to stage management. Such a commitment required that Hanks drop out of college, but with this under his belt, a future in acting was in the cards. Hanks won the Cleveland Critics Circle Award for Best Actor for his performance as Proteus in Shakespeare's The Two Gentlemen of Verona, one of the few times he played a villain.
Tom Hanks has been in so many good movies and shows that it's hard to say which one is my favorite?
Did you know he was in the movie Real Genius in 1985 but is not credited for it? He is only in the movie briefly when the main actor Mitch bumps into him in a crowd.
There was two movies in 1984 that gave him the boost he needed to become a star. Those two movies are Splash and Bachelor Party. In the movie Splash he was considered by Ron Howard the director to be the wise cracking brother which instead went to John Candy. Tom Hanks got the main role in Splash that turned out to be a pretty good idea considering it made over $69 million dollars that year in the box office.
My favorite movie he starred in if I had to pick one would be The Burbs. Hilarious! Castaway,Saving Private Ryan,The Green Mile, and I'm curious to see Where The Wild Things Are (2009). Tom Hanks is the Producer of the Where The Wild Things Are and who knows? It might be really good!
