MILEY CYRUS AND LIAM HEMSWORTH ARE ENGAGED!

So this has been the news of the day, 19 year old Miley Cyrus and 22 year old Liam Hemsworth are engaged after dating on and off for three years. Both met on the set of The Last Song where they played each other's love interests.

What attracted Miley to Liam was how much of a gentleman he was, compared to other guys she had dated and the fact that he didn't have any preconceived notion of all the negative press she was getting. He actually got to know her by his own terms.

"I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam," Miley told People.

Liam actually proposed to Miley on May 31 with a 3.5 carat cushion-cut Neil Lane diamond ring with 18-karat gold and diamond floral accents. This particular diamond is said to have been carved sometime around 1880, a time where every piece of jewelry was unique.

Miley tweeted, "I love you more today than yesterday but I love you less today than I will tomorrow...life is beautiful."

Miley was spotted at the 2012 People's Choice Awards in the hottest dress that I've ever seen her in. She was wearing a halter dress by David Koma. Check the sheer neckline and rear detailing in the back of it; the metallic Jimmy Choo heels was sexy and BOSS, even.

Well, well... they are a couple, though. I'm talking about Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, who was seen this past weekend in a compromising position.

I don't even have to say too much; just look at the above picture. It could be that Selena's reaching over Justin for something, or Justin's getting ready to do somethin'...

And meanwhile, check out this awkward photo of Miley Cyrus and 50 Cent (Fiddy or G-Unit) at the American Giving Awards. By the way, it's so beautiful to be giving back this time of year. I do it every Christmas donating to shelters to local organizations.



It's a nice effort they're putting forth, but EFFORT was not applied in making this picture the best. First of all, 50 Cent has an unflattering facial pose. I don't know what it is, but it just ain't right. I had an awkward camera moment before, so I asked the photographer to do another shot to get it right.

And Miley... while her dress and earrings may be nice, please sweetie... don't ever bare your EARS like that again. JUST... NO. *Polite smile*

CELEBRITIES WHO HATE GLEE!!!

Glee is the hot Fox television show that has acquired many fans called Gleekers! I never really got into the hype, but once in awhile I'll catch it a performance I wanted to see on YouTube. The only episode I only ever saw in its entirety while showing on television was the Britney Spears themed one because if you haven't guessed it, I love Britney Spears. The other time I did catch a clip of an episode online was to see the sexy Gwyneth Paltrow get her groove back. Other than that, I don't watch it, and it seems like many celebrities are publicly expressing their dislike for the show as well.

Miley Cyrus says, “Honestly, musicals? I just can’t. What if this was real life and I was just walking down the street on Rodeo Drive and all of a sudden I just burst into song about how much I love shoes?"

Slash says, "I hate f—ing musicals. It’s worse than Grease."

Kings of Leon says, "No, we don’t want to be on your show."

Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters says, "It’s every band’s right, you shouldn’t have to do f—ing Glee. And then the guy who created Glee is so offended that we’re not, like, begging to be on his f—ing show… f— that guy for thinking anybody and everybody should want to do Glee. Dude, maybe not everyone loves Glee. Me included. I watched ten minutes and it wasn't my thing."

Though these celebrities aren't fans of the show, they're especially not fans of the show's creator Ryan Murphy who after rejecting the request, has called them out saying harsh things about them. Not everyone has to like Glee such as myself, because we all have different tastes. And many artists don't like to have their songs recreated for something they don't personally believe in. Stay to what you believe, and don't follow the crowd if it's not your thing!

Saturday Night Live is a fun comedy sketch show that has entered millions of homes in the late night, for a half-century. There has been countless actors on the show imitating other celebs in their real lives, and MILEY CYRUS just may belong in the top rankings of impersonators. She dressed up and did an excellent impersonation of JUSTIN BIEBER which drew unquenchable laughs from the audience.

It's a good look; BIEBER is stand-alone, so if anyone tries to act like him, it is ALWAYS FUNNY.

Miley Cyrus had been on every paparazzi's dream list quite frequently lately. With her superstar status, she has been in more negative press lately. Being 18 years old, Miley has been caught in many questionable circumstances....

In April 2008, 15 year old Miley has a spread in Vanity Fair where she's basically nude with a sheet covering her.

In June 2009, photos resurfaced of teen princess Miley Cyrus with some suggestive photos.

In 2009, Miley Cyrus pole dances while performing her song "Party in the USA" at the Teen Choice Awards.

In November 2010, Miley is caught in Spain with a beer in her hand though the legal drinking age is 18 [not 18 yet].

At Miley Cyrus's early 18th birthday party, a picture was shot while he was getting kissed on the neck from Nickelodeon star Avon Jogia.

In December 2010, Miley Cyrus went viral when a video of her smoking salvia was posted all over the internet.


Through the media spotlight, she has been literally growing up in front on the public eye. She dresses and dances provocatively on stage and her music nowadays such as "I Can't Be Tamed" is really what her parents can't do since it's beyond their control now. Father Billy Ray Cyrus in the most recent issue of GQ says, "That damn show [Hannah Montana] destroyed my family... I'd erase it all in a second if I could." But we all know it's a bit too late for that. Maybe it's a trend for Disney superstars to want to grow up fast in the public eye: Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Jessica Simpson, Demi Lovato, and now Miley Cyrus.



Miley's fame can't escape her now, and with each step she takes, she cannot face scrutiny. It's difficult when you're a Disney star because you become a role model for many girls out there. No parents would want to see their girl grow up so fast in a negative light.



Being that Miley Cyrus is the age of a legal adult, she keeps facing more harsh criticism because of her background. Her father was a country star who plays a constant role in his daughter's life. But with each new incident that headlines news, he finds it out of his control. Only some stars can handle the media spotlight it seems.
